Zinc Sulfide is available as 99.99 pure (metals basis) 1-2 micron powder, CVD grade granules or tablets, or as a nano-powder. Zinc Sulfide is available in large batch quantities for potential uses as a phosphor host, in optical coatings, or as an infrared window material. Lorad has developed a novel proprietary method for sintering Zinc Sulfide to high density.

Zinc Sulfide Notes

ZnS powder at 1-2 microns is the source material for our tablets and granules for the vacuum evaporation of thin film coatings.

It should be noted that we also manufacture a range of very high purity zinc dialky dithiocarbamates, specially purified to be suitable for the chemical vapor deposition of zinc sulfide thin films. Lorad can provide user information to customers relating to the conditions for thin film growth, and the application of these precursors in an aerosol  and conventional CVD source application.
