Loard has developed a new process for the synthesis of a uniform, small particle size YAG :Ce phosphor powder. This powder is used in white LED lamps and in high pressure mercury lamps. In the blue LED, the YAG:Ce converts some of the blue light to yellow, such that the emitted light is white. This material is available in commercial quantities. Contact us for pricing.
