About Krypton
Krypton is a noble gas with atomic number 36 that has low chemical reactivity under ordinary conditions. The gas is used in specialized lamps, while krypton and fluorine mixtures are used in excimer lasers. It can also form compounds such as krypton difluoride under specialized conditions, although the transient species responsible for krypton fluoride laser emission is different from this compound.
