Sulfides
Inorganic sulfides are ionic compounds containing the sulfide ion S2−. Sulfide compounds can be used in a wide variety of applications including solid-state electrolytes, cathode materials in lithium-ion and thermal batteries, semi-conductors in thermoelectric devices, as part of phosphor compositions, as photovoltaic materials, as pigments, and a variety of other applications.
